Multi-buyer wind PPA supports Irish decarbonisations efforts

Making renewable PPAs accessible beyond large corporates

Flogas and Ørsted introduced a new multi-buyer corporate PPA model in Ireland to make renewable energy access easier for a broader range of businesses. The scheme allows companies to purchase tailored shares of electricity from Ørsted’s Knockawarriga onshore wind farm without committing to full output, offering flexible contracts suited to different energy needs. It aims to expand access beyond large corporations, helping medium and smaller firms secure long-term fixed-price green power, cut emissions, and support Ireland’s transition to renewable energy.
